DISCUSSION QUESTION

1) How would you reply in your own words if someone asks you 'who is Jesus?'

2) The speaker said; "Realising who Jesus is should have a profound impact on how we treat him."

Are there instances where we treat Jesus merely "like a fiance" in our songs, speech, attitude or church culture?

What steps can we take to guard against this tendency to treat him "like and equal"?

3) We live in a world darkened by sin, but in Christ "was life, and that life was the light of all mankind"  light that overcomes darkness. How is the gospel relevant in some of the darkest places of our lives:

    a) A dark time in your own life or the people around you.

    b) At your workplace/college or universities?

    c) On the streets in Kuala Lumpur or where you live?

    d) In government or national policies?

    e) In society or culture?

4) Christ, the Word of God dwelt with us, lived a perfect life and died on the cross on our behalf so we can know God. Is there anyone in your life that needs to know this? Share and  pray for this person's salvation and an opportunity to share the gospel.
