1) The speaker said that the story was similar to the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden. Abram was very much like Adam and Sarai like Eve. Why do you think Abram was so passive?  Why do men often not lead in a husband wife relationship?

2) The angel of the Lord asked Hagar to return and submit to her mistress. Why do you think the angel of the Lord asked Hagar to do that? What are some things we run away from like Hagar?

Describe a time you have experienced when you were so down and God came to you. You saw God and experienced his mercy like Hagar.
