1) What is one thing you learned from the sermon that you feel you can apply to your life?
2) How had the Pharisees turned the law into something that burdened the people? Why did they do that?
3) What did Jesus mean when he said; “The sabbath is made for man, not man for the sabbath so the Son of Man is lord even of the sabbath."? How has the sabbath benefitted you?
4) The speaker talked about the Gospel plus…. What are some Gospel “plusses” that you have seen or have done yourselves?
5) If Jesus is the Lord of the sabbath, that means for us to truly find rest and restoration, we must go to Jesus. How do you find rest in the Lord of the sabbath?
