Leaders to help with the widows

Acts 6:1-7

1) The preacher listed 3 areas that reflect how well someone has grasped the Gospel. What are these areas?

2) How does the 12 Apostles' response with regards to serving the widows (V. 2) reflect on their exercising of authority and position?  Did they blame other people for the problem and think the task was below them?

3) If you are a church leader, a parent or a manager at work, how do you respond to feedback regarding how you are leading/parenting?

4) The preacher asserted that all types of legitimate work are equally important. Does this idea conflict with 1 Timothy 3:1? What is the difference between important and noble/honorable?
