Read Psalm 77 together
1) When I remember God, I moan. You hold my eyelids open. I'm so troubled I cannot speak. V.3&4
V. 6-9 is a series of 6 honest questions towards God
Describe in your own words the Psalmist's feelings and emotions.
2) v. 5 & 6 the Psalmist looks back and then comes to the 6 questions. V.10&11 on the other hand looks back at God's faithfulness in delivering Israel.
-Describe the difference in the two "looking back"
-Describe your experience in "looking back".
3) V.19 your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen.
- describe a situation in your life when you knew this was the right path.
- Share a difficult time in your life. Did God seem present in the middle of your difficult situation?
4) Break into small groups,and share your prayer requests and pray for one another.
