DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1) The speaker spoke of the Gen Y and Gen X generation (younger generation) being more exposed to the injustices of the world : Economic, social and ecological injustices they demand to know how the Gospel can still be relevant today.

Discuss how the gospel can still be relevant to these issues which the younger generation are concern about.  How can the church/gospel speak into these issues in an authentic way.

2) Read Genesis 1:28&29  What is the purpose of mankind? What are humans called to do?   How do modern humans fulfill this mandate of Genesis 1:28-29?  Discuss

3) Hebrews 2:6-8 is a quote from Psalm 8.  Psalm 8 refers to the dominion of man at creation. But then sin came and marred creation. Hebrews 2:6-8 refers to Christ (The Son of man) . According to the passage in Hebrews what did Christ do? Where do we fit into this picture of redemption and putting everything in subjection to Christ?

4) Discuss the idea of the cinema ticket Vs. the Train Ticket and how we should live?

 

5) Pray for one another.
