DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1) King David discovered that God was truly His rock and salvation, his fortress and he will not be shaken. (V. 5&6). This is very different from his reality of V. 3&4 of tottering fence and leaning wall (about to fall) .  Describe your current "tottering fence and leaning wall" - your current reality which may be difficult.

What difference would it make if you realised that God was your rock and salvation and your fortress?

2) The speaker said that the key verse of 1 Corinthian 7 is V. 17

"Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him and to which God has called him. "

Share with each other what the Lord had assigned to you, what are the various personal callings which God has called you to.  What are the difficulties which you experience in each of that calling.

3) What difference is it to how you live your life and respond to your call knowing the answer to the following:

a) Who called you?  God, the creator of the universe

b) Why has He called you? For an eternal Kingdom purpose

c) How has He called you? Christ who came down from heaven took our sins and redeemed us.

4) Share a prayer request about your struggles in an area of your calling. Work/relationships/church?

Pray for one another.
